Dr. Hanan Taraf is a skilled and compassionate dentist who is committed to delivering top-notch service to her patients, always accompanied by a warm and friendly smile.
Her Background
Originally from Morocco, Dr. Taraf began her dental practice there, drawing from her upbringing and roots. In 2005, she embarked on a new journey in Canada, pursuing her studies at the Université de Montréal, where she successfully earned her Canadian DMD Degree and graduated in June of 2010.
Driven by her passion for learning, Dr. Taraf has continuously sought to expand her knowledge and expertise. She pursued additional studies to become proficient in oral sedation, aiming to provide stress-free treatment options for even the most anxious patients. Moreover, she completed her training in the TIAD implant residency under the guidance of Dr. Mark Lin, further enhancing her skills in implant dentistry.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Taraf is a devoted mother of two beautiful girls. In her free time, she actively engages with the community, demonstrating her deep connection and involvement outside of her dental practice.
Cassidy Arnone
Dental Assistant
Cassidy is a dedicated and proficient level 2 dental assistant, devoted to providing exceptional support to the dental team and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits, all while maintaining a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Her Background
She completed her studies at Algonquin College in 2016. Since 2018, she has been diligently assisting Dr. Taraf in her dental practice. Recently, Cassidy has embraced the additional responsibility of serving as a treatment coordinator, showcasing her dedication and willingness to take on new challenges.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cassidy finds joy in spending time outdoors, particularly in her garden, nurturing plants and enjoying nature. Additionally, she cherishes moments with her two lovely dog companions at her home.
Maggie Little
Dental Assistant
Maggie, a dedicated level 2 dental assistant, provides exceptional support to the dental team while ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. With her professional demeanor and genuine warmth, Maggie creates a welcoming environment where patients feel at ease. Her proficiency in dental procedures and compassionate approach make her an invaluable asset to the practice.
Her Background
Maggie completed her studies at Algonquin College in 2023, where she honed her skills and knowledge in dental assisting. Joining our team last March, she has quickly become an integral part of our practice, bringing a fresh perspective and dedication to her role.
Melanie Stewart
Treatment coordinator
Melanie, a committed and skilled level 2 dental assistant, is dedicated to offering outstanding support to our dental team while prioritizing the comfort and well-being of our patients. Her professional and welcoming attitude ensures that every patient feels valued and at ease during their visits. Melanie's proficiency and dedication elevate our practice, making her an essential member of our team.
Her Background
Melanie has been in the dental industry for over 13 years, initially graduating from Everest College as a dental assistant. Falling deeply in love with the field during her two years of work, she was compelled to further her education, graduating as a dental hygienist in 2014. After taking a hiatus to raise her daughter, Melanie has returned to dentistry, finding immense joy in being back in an office setting.
Her passion lies in working closely with people, assisting them in achieving their dental goals, and witnessing the joy reflected in their bright and happy smiles brings her immense happiness.
